As a property owner myself, I understand what’s involved to purchase a property and manage repayments and the upkeep of a home loan.

Having been a Mortgage Broker for over 16 years, I’ve seen many Home Loan products, which have been offered by the banks. But the basics remain the same. When purchasing a property, whether it be to live in or to invest in, get your finance sorted, before you fall in love with the property!

In my everyday life as a Mortgage Broker, I see client’s in many different financial situations. I love nothing more than sitting down with clients and listening to their scenario. I then like to put myself in my client’s shoes. To be then able to relate that scenario back to my own life and think, how would I handle this if the loan was for me? There’s nothing more rewarding than providing the answers that our clients have been searching for themselves, but perhaps haven’t been able to find, particularly if they have already been to the bank. With access to over 30 Lenders on our panel, we can provide our clients with choices when it comes to their home loan, not just 1 loan product.

As a member of the MFAA (Mortgage and Finance Association Australia), the AFCA (Australian Financial Complaints Authority) and holding a Diploma in Financial Services, I am required to attend many seminars and workshops to help keep my knowledge of the industry changes up to date. I am also a Justice of the Peace, so meeting the obligations and keeping up with the changes to this role form part of my working week.

What do I do in my spare time you may ask? I have 3 lively children who are very dedicated soccer and rugby league players. So, weekend sport is a huge part of our household. It gives me time with the kids, is a great way to mix with local families and get out of the office! I also love watching the local “Gerringong Lions” Rugby League teams battle it out at the local football oval.
